I've got 108 marks in MAINS and 70.4% in 12th CBSE. Should I wait for JEE counselling or choose private options. I'm thinking about LPU.

If you belong to general category then it's better to take admission in private college (LPU is a good option) otherwise you may wait however the chances still will be very less.

Hi, You should definitely choose LPU. LPU is known for its engineering. From a few years, the demand for engineers is very high in industries and IT sectors due to increment in the application and software-based automation processes. So, your choice of course is absolutely perfect to begin your career. with this marks it is impossible to get in any nit except you belong to any reserved category then it's another story . Any good govt college won't help you should try for private university but university like LPU or Amity should be the last choice try for IP university or any state university of your state or try for SRM or VIT.

Rajat, LPU will a good option. LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. The university provides ample placement opportunities to eligible students and leaves no stone unturned to shape the future of its students. It is definitely the first choice of both national and international students.
