I want to do MS from Canada ,I wanted to know the process of prerequisite exams like TOEFL and GRE,and when is the right time to give them?

Hi, In order to pursue masters degree from universities in Canada, you need to have relevant undergraduate degree from recognized university with good academic record preferably 60%-70% plus in graduation, plus you need to take below mentioned tests: 1. GRE scores of 300-320 plus. 2. TOEFL score of 80-90 plus or IELTS score of 6-7 bands plus. Please note that the eligibility criteria for admission may differ from university to university. Please remember application deadlines in Canadian universities for international students are set by the department delivering each program, and these deadlines may be as early as 12 months before the program begins. So, in order to know the exact application deadline it would be always advisable to browse through the university's website you wish to apply. Overall,universities in Canada have 2 admission intake in a year namely: - Fall(September) intake. - Spring(January) intake. In most of the universities the deadline for fall intake is July and for spring intake it is November. So it is always advisable to take these tests atleast 4-5 months in advance of your planned admission intake. Please note that you do not have to apply to the college first, however while filling up the form for GRE and TOEFL you have to mentioned the names of few universities where you wish to send your scores.
