I want to join LPU but is it necessary to pass LPU NEST or JEE Mains?

The eligibility criteria for B.Tech at LPU is : Pass with minimum 60% in 10+2 with Physics, mathematics and English + valid score of JEE Mains / LPU NEST. However if you have score of above 90% in 10+2, you will be exempted from any entrance examination. Not only the exemption, you also stand to secure the highest scholarship slabs available till October 31, 2020. LPU has made rapid strides in developing the right curriculum n industry feedback, great teaching pedagogy, infrastructure, equipment, well qualified and renowned faculty, industry interface, entrepreneurship and community projects, innovation and design thinking labs, technology trainings, credit transfers and international exposure, extra curricular activities and finally the placements. In order to get admission in any of the B.Tech courses, you have to give LPU NEST exam. LPU NEST is mandatory to qualify. LPU is best known for its B.Tech course. Around 1000 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU. And this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 650 placement/internship drives have been conducted till February 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs). Every year more than 1000 companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. The highest Package Availed by Engineering (CSE) Student The highest package offered during LPU placements 2022 stood at INR 64 LPA. The highest package was grabbed by a B.Tech CSE student of LPU, and the offer was made by Google. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft in 2020. During the pandemic year of 2020-2021, Cloud ERA has offered 31 Lacs Per annum (CSE) and in 2019-2020, CODE NATION has offered 31 LPA.

Hi, In order to take admission into B.Tech degree in LPU you need to qualify the eligibity criteria. Eligibility criteria is 60% in 10+2 with English Physics & Mathematics )+ LPUNEST For Biotechnology, Food Tech and Biomedical engineering. English Physics Chemistry and Maths/ Biology/ Biotech and rest all same For Chemical English Physics Chemistry and Mathematics and rest all same. LPU NEST cut off scores varies with different domains of B.Tech. JEE (Mains) exam score may be considered for scholarship but you need to qualify the eligibility criteria first. Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories: 1.1. Scholarship: Eligibility Qualification/ Qualification previous to Eligibility Qualification: The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of Eligibility qualification. Dear Sarah, Yes, it is mandatory to qualify for either LPU NEST or JEE Mains (with a minimum of 85 percentile) to get admission to the B.Tech programme at LPU. You do not need to worry about the LPU NEST exam, you can easily qualify for the exam and there is no negative marking. You can check the LPU NEST website for the previous year's question paper and sample questions for the B.Tech programme, LPU offers B.Tech in various programmes such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. I recommended my cousin to do B.Tech from LPU itself. Good Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for the Engineering programme is 42 LPA till now.
