6 years agoNo doubt, IITs are the top government funded institutes of India. NITs follow IITs and are next best in Engineering. So, if you are targeting top-10 institute than you must target these institutes. You need to sit for JEE-Mains and score good to have a chance for NITs. For IITs you need to first qualify JEE-Mains and then JEE Advanced. Only way to excel in JEE is continuous effort in learning the topics (PCM) of 11th and 12th. Try to solve questions with proper logic. Take as many tests as possible. Determined effort towards preparation will definitely help you to get into top institute. Best of Luck.
