I would suggest you confirm VIT for CS. It is one of the best in the market. You will get a good college and a superb campus along with great faculty members. It will help you develop yourself overall!

If you think you can clear IISER, then you can go for it. Else, you can join CS in VIT and after you clear IISER aptitude test, you can withdraw from the course as there would be refund upon commencement of classes. But it would not be 100% as it depends on when you withdraw from the course. And even VIT is one of the top private colleges in India, CSE in VIT, Vellore has heavy packages and even VIT has multiple records in terms of placements.
