5 years agoB.Tech students but when you are going to have your soft skills classes or placement drives you have to wear the uniform. Moreover, one should wear decent clothes while coming to the University. The uniform is now provided by the university at a very nominal charge. -

5 years agoHello Anamika, There is no dress code for B.Tech CSE but yes one thing is for sure that student must come to the class in a decent apparels. Student are required to wear uniform only when they are going to your soft skill classes or placement drives or any prescribed events/ occasions. The uniform is now provided by the university at a very nominal charge at approximately Rs.3000/-. All the best. -
Dear Anamika, There is no uniform for normal classes, however during the professional enhancement classes and placement drives the uniform has to be worn as the external stakeholders are scrutinizing your credentials and personality for potential employment. LPU carefully nurtures its students and propels them to the pinnacle of success so that their hard work culminates to a point which would be the cause of envy of many. There is no uniform for every day as such. You are supposed to dress up in a professional decent attire. Yes for the soft skills classes you have a particular dress code as in those classes you are groomed to be professionals. You might have to wear your uniform for university events of seminars etc. Good Luck. -
Hi Anamika, there is no uniform at LPU. The students can come in casuals. However, it is mandatory to be in formals during their lectures, soft skills classes, placement classes, guest lectures, and seminars etc. The university charges a fee for this uniform.

There is no uniform for B.Tech CSE. Students can wear casuals on regular days. But yet if the student has any placement drive or soft skills classes then they have to wear formals. B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is related to algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software, etc. It is a comprehensive course in computer systems and applications. The students who pursue the course of Computer Science Engineering are taught about design, the implementation as well as management of computer software and hardware.
