In lpu is there any uniform for B Tech CSE?

There is no uniform for normal classes, however during the professional enhancement classes and placement drives the uniform has to be worn as the external stakeholders are scrutinizing your credentials and personality for potential employment. You can buy this uniform from campus itself or it is up to you that if you wish to buy it outside the campus. All the best.

As per my knowledge, there is no uniform or dress code which is a compulsion in the Lovely Professional University (LPU) campus or classroom. However, students have to maintain proper clothes. Being an ex CSE student, I can recall that their was no uniform as such, however, you have to wear decent clothes. Students are being given placement-oriented classes during which uniform has to be worn as the external stakeholders scrutinize your credentials and personality for potential employment and even company-specific input also.

In Lovely Professional University the uniform is not required, students can wear their casual but sophisticated clothes. But at the time of the professional enhancement classes or during interview or placement drives students have to wear uniform.

Dear Ayushman, Being a alumni of this University I am eligible to answer your query. Firts of all my experience at Lovely Professional University has been amazing. I did BBA from LPU, I remember, In my class there were 67 students from Africa and they used to wear shorts, jeans and all but being a student of Business school they followed dress code policy during seminars, professional enhancement classes, workshops etc. Every student at LPU is blessed to get exposure to a variety of Culture and Tradition that aids in the overall societal growth of students. The environment is rich not only in the level of learning but also demonstrates India's international relations with other nations. Girls or boys can wear anything they want. Plus you can keep any kind of hairstyle you wish. There is no rule for that in university. As it is situated in Punjab and students from Africa as well as the North-Eastern part of India also study at LPU so you can imagine the fashion trend that goes inside the campus. If you are into fashion and modeling you can pursue your career in that as well. You will have both legal and moral support from the university, as most students fear the management and hence you would never experience CAT-calls or teasing for fear of getting expelled. In case you would like to explore new trends, DSA provides ample space for your modeling endeavors by supporting you both financially and morally. However, as per academic professionalism, girls and boys both need to follow the dress code policy which has been introduced in our academic system. There is no restriction for Dresses. During Placement drives, internship drives, industrial visits, guest lectures, PEP classes, etc. And on any other formal occasion, both need to be in formals. You should be in formal. Thank You!
