In terms of training, is a part-time or distance MBA programme good as compared to a full-time MBA programme?

As per my point of view a full-time MBA degree will always provide extra edged to the MBA course. As if we SEE in terms of holistic development of students in record to peer learning, corporate exposure, placements, a full-time MBA course will add a curve to your career than an part-time or distance MBA programme. As I have done my MBA as a full-time programme from PIBM and also has witnessed some of my friends pursing their via as a distance programme, I personally have found a lot of difference between the two programs. Many of things like proper interaction with faculty members, experiencing corporate sessions and interactions with the ace of the various companies, personality development by GD/PI, placement trainings before going for an interview, better campus placements, all these factors where missing in the part-time or distance MBA programme. By seeing the situation, after the current lockdown situation is temporary and once the situations gets back to normal, PIBM will start working as before. Therefore if you are looking pursuing your MBA, I would suggest you to go for PIBM. Hi, I feel a full time MBA or PGDM is always better. As far as I know that online degrees cant give enough corporate exposure. I would suggest you opt for a regular full-time MBA or PGDM degree from a good B-school. There are many good B-schools in India, but as far as I know, PIBM is really good, I have heard they have good placements and expert faculty members. PIBM had always been technologically ahead. Hence during the pandemic, students learning was continued through PIBMs in-house AI-developed learning management software. It helps in conduction online classes, real-time feedback from the faculty members, online assessment, even online internships, and placements.

In terms of training, a full-time programme is always better. Because the full-time programme helps you to get good practical exposure, placement, and many more. A Full-time MBA programme is definitely better than an online or distance MBA degree. The current lockdown situation is temporary and once the situations gets back to normal, colleges will start working as before. When we talk about the training it includes corporate exposures, internships, Curriculum, Networking, etc. And a full-time MBA is best in all the aspects. In terms of Corporate Exposures: There is no industrial or field visit involved in Distance MBA, so the learning is restricted in terms of exposure and Industrial visits, factory visits, field visits are an important part of a full-time MBA programme, and part of the curriculum. In terms of Internships: There is no internship process involved in distance MBA and internship search needs to be done on your own. But in a full-time MBA, internship the process is conducted at the end of the second semester, and students can work with the best of companies tied up with the programme. In terms of curriculum: In distance MBA, there is a crisp and concise curriculum in Distance MBA and in full-time MBA, theory and practicals are both comprehensive in a 2-year full-time MBA programme In terms of Networking: Since distance MBA is online, there is no interaction between the students and faculty or even between the students themselves, and In full-time MBA, there is continuous interaction between the students and faculty hence networking takes place on a large scale with students, guest faculty, and other members which is an advantage. You should pursue a full-time MBA because you need to invest your time and money in learning in both the distance and full-time MBA. But you need to take admission to a good MBA college that can provide you a better platform for your learning. As being an alumnus of PIBM Pune I would like to share my experience with PIBM Pune. I have done PGDM in Marketing. Due to lockdown PIBM Pune also providing classes, internships, projects, etc. Through online mode. PIBM uses Zoom classes for classroom training.
