Generally the CLAT application forms will be released in the month of January (Ist week) and the exam will be conducted in the 2nd week of May every year. Where as the application forms for AILET will be available form January (Ist week) and the exam will be conducted in 1st week of May every year. B.A. LL.B. (Hons) course will be required to study more papers than a general B.A. LL.B. Degree and having honours will be a plus point if you're willing to study LL. NLU Delhi and Consortium of National Law Universities will be conducting AILET 2024 and CLAT 2024 exam in December. AILET 2024 Exam date is December 10, 2023. CLAT 2024 is scheduled to be held on December 3, 2023. The application process for both the exams is currently underway. NLU Delhi and Consortium of National Law Universities have decided to conduct AILET and CLAT respectively in December every year. For this the admission notification will be out in May or June every year. The online applications will begin in July or August every year, and will be completed by November month. This will help them completed early admissions for the upcoming academic year. For example, CLAT 2024 or AILET 2024 are to be conducted in December 2023 itself, so that the admission process for upcoming academic session gets completed by January or February 2024.
