With an EWS rank of 407 in CLAT 2025, you have a very strong chance of getting admission to NLU Sonipat, as previous year EWS cutoffs ranged from 1768 to 2727 across counseling rounds. Your rank is well within this range, making admission highly likely.

An EWS rank of 407 in CLAT 2025 puts you in a strong position for admission to NLU Sonipat, especially if you're applying under the All India EWS quota.

Based on the latest counselling data:

    • In Round 1, the EWS closing rank was around 2180.
    • In Round 2, it went up to 2640, and in Round 3, it reached 2660.
    • Your rank of 407 is well within this range, meaning you're likely to be offered a seat in the early rounds of counselling.

If you also have Haryana domicile, the EWS-HR category had even higher closing ranks — around 2705 in Round 2 — which further improves your chances.

The average rank of 407 in CLAT in NLU Sonipat can be termed quite impressive and promises a good admission possibility. According to the past years data, the NLU Sonipat cutoff rank in the EWS reportedly has been significantly higher than 407, with the maximum being between 1700-3000 at most of the rounds in the past years. Despite the fact that the cutoffs could be different when it comes to the difficultness of the examination and applicants only provides a scope in which you are ranked high with chances of a seat being offered easily.

No, CLAT scores are not imp. to get admissions into the BBA LLB course at Kirit P. School of Law. Because the institute is affiliated with NMIMS, and the institute accepts the relevant scores of NMIMS LAT too. Thus, you can enrol for the course with relevant scores in CLAT and NMIMS LAT too.

Hi.

  • Level: Comparable overall. NLET may be slightly more analytical/legal-reasoning oriented.

  • Preparation Overlap: Preparing for CLAT will largely cover NLET syllabus, but you may need extra practice on complex legal reasoning questions for NLET.

  • Difficulty: Both are competitive; CLAT is high due to large number of applicants, while NLET can feel harder in legal aptitude sections.
