Is B.Sc. Agriculture course of LPU ICAR approved at present?

LPU's School of Agriculture is the only private institution which has been accredited by ICAR to run the agriculture courses in Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral level. The best part of LPU curriculum is that it is industry ready, being developed in consultations and feedback from industry itself, it is the ideal course for those aspiring good careers in agriculture. The most striking feature is the faculty and focus on the allied skills. Many technologies like SAP and other MOOCs etc. Are a part of the curriculum to ensure that employability of student improves and thet are able to get into dream careers. Just last year, M.Sc. Agronomy student Kavita Faman was placed in Monsanto foods at annual package of INR 1 crore. So, yes LPU is ICAR accredited, has solid track record and fabulous placements.

It lays thrust on carrying out research in agricultural and allied fields. Well, Lovely professional university is the first private university to get accreditation from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). LPU provides the quality education by the well qualified teachers. LPU has become a brand across the globe. It has various national and international tie-ups. LPU excels in terms of placement as well. LPU provides a proper atmosphere or environment for agriculture students. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff. Students here are given the opportunity to work on the live projects. University provides additional professional enhancement classes as part of the curriculum to prepare the students for all types of competitive exams. LPU excels in terms of placement as well. Students of agriculture are availing a good amount of packages from the recruiters. LPU is the first private university that got approval from ICAR. (I).
