No, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is not the largest university in Asia. While BHU is one of the largest residential universities in Asia, it is not the largest. The largest university in Asia is G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology in Uttarakhand, which covers an area of 10,016.29 acres. BHU holds a total of 4,000 acres of land, with 1,300 acres belonging to the main campus and 2,700 acres to the south campus. BHU is renowned for its size and residential facilities, but it is not the largest university in Asia.
