    No, it's not tough for any average student. If you prepare daily at least 2- 3 hours yourself for 6-8 months, you can score good percentiles in CAT. Its level is kept high, but most of the time, inclusion is spread about the toughness of CAT. It requires 3 sections to be very strong namely as Data interpretation and analytical reasoning, General comprehension and verbal ability and Mathematical reasoning and analysis.

    It all depends on your preparation. If you are well prepared, practiced a lot, then you will be able to crack CAT (not easily, but yes you can, by putting a little bit of effort).

    No, it is not at all tough for an average student. If you are able to give 2-3 hours daily for 6 months then you can easily crack the CAT. You should be clear with your concepts and how to apply it. Practice more and more AIMCAT'S & purchase some good test series like IMS and many more it will help you a lot. Don't worry there are many good colleges in 60-70percentile slab, so you will definitely land up in good college. Keep going.

No, CAT scores are not compulosry for admissions to MBA course at Techno India University. Because the university considers scores from other entrance exams too, likewise, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ JEMAT/ TNJEE scores. Thus, you can get enrolement with CAT scores. However, it is not compulsory.
