8 years agoIIM A admits through CAT exam only for Indians. Cut-off score is the minimum requirement to be considered for further scrutiny and does not guarantee a call or admit. -

CAT is the test which need to be taken by students who wish to pursue MBA from India.
Whereas, GMAT is test which need to be taken by students who wish to pursue MBA from universities abroad, however, there are many B-Schools in India which accepts GMAT scores too for admission in MBA program.
So, before taking any test, you need to first decide whether to pursue MBA from India or abroad.
