The Mechanical Engineering department had the most ideal study environment since I have two friends from that stream. The labs and workspace at LPU School of Mechanical Engineering, was fully equipped with all the necessary machinery that was required for our wholesome learning. My brother has completed B.Tech Mechanical from Lovely Professional University, LPU is helping him grow professionally and personally with its career-oriented programs and support. It would be a good choice to opt for Lovely Professional University as in the present scenario this is the university which caters to the all round development of its students and nu

See, the chances of getting placements in the mechanical branch in any of the private college is quite low as the demand for these engineers in very low in India.

Chandigarh University is obviously a better choice. But, when it comes to placement it depends upon you that how you have scored in your B.Tech. Because, Chandigarh University delivered best placement records from last three consecutive years.
  • Yes, CU is a good option as the placements with the core companies like VE, M&M, Hyundai etc come for placement every year. Also there are company sponsored labs from the companies (mentioned above) in the campus for the practical training of the students.

Hello, whether it's Automobile or any other branch, duration for Diploma is three years after 10th board. However as per National Education Policy, once a student gets admission, after 12th board, once the students complete two years, they will be entitled to receive diploma. Then they can either leave the course or continue the same for one or two more years, they will be entitled for higher recognition.

Best wishes

Quantum University is good for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering, especially if you want practical learning along with theory. From a student point of view, I feel the mechanical department is strong and the teachers are supportive.

The university has all the important mechanical labs like workshop lab, fluid mechanics lab, thermal lab, strength of material lab, and machine lab. In these labs we get to work on real machines, tools, engines, and different mechanical equipment. Teachers guide us step by step, so even difficult topics become easy to understand.

The course covers all the main subjects like thermodynamics, manufacturing process,
