Is civil engineering good in all the 3 campuses of BITS?

BITS stands out 5th in the list of best engineering colleges in India including BITS. Comparing a branch is not easy as even the students of manufacturing and civil departments get into oracle with a package of 22 lacs.

Civil engineering is only offered in two campuses of BITS i.e. Pilani and Hyderabad. I think, any specialisation of engineering done from BITS is of much worth and has a great value in itself. In case of civil engineering, both the campuses are having knowledgeable faculties and are well equipped with the laboratories and technical equipment required for experiments/practicals. The placements may not be as enticing as for other branches like CSE, EE but still, it gives you a decent package at firms like L&T, TCE, etc. However, a majority of the civil engineering students move towards GATE/IES for their career advancements. Civil is good but I would say prefer IITs over BITS for civil engineering.

No, you cannot get admission at BITS Pilani with 60% marks. As per the eligibility criteria students must qualify Class 12 with 75% marks from the recognised board. It is mandatory for students to qualify the eligiblity criteria. The institute also accepts admission based on the entrance exams.
