According to the official website of the Faculty of Law, University of Calcutta, admission to the 5-year B.A. LL.B. course is based on the marks obtained in the 10+2 level from the board recognised by the University of Calcutta. There is no mention of CLAT as a requirement for admission. However, some other law colleges affiliated to the University of Calcutta, such as the Department of Law, Hazra Campus, may require CLAT scores for admission.
