The GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) Scholarship for Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) and M.Tech. (Master of Technology) is provided by the MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development) and other government agencies. The basic requirement for the fellowship is to qualify for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering GATE Exam. Any student who qualifies for the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) or GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) exam after the date of admission shall not be eligible for a grant of scholarship, for whatever reason that may be.
