Is getting part-time jobs easy while studying at Information Technology Training Institute?

Applying to the Information Technology Training Institute is considerably different from applying to other universities in New Zealand based on various parameters. First and foremost, the Information Technology Training Institute provides students with diplomas on the completion of their programme while other universities provide a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.

Aside from this, Information Technology Training Institute has a minimal eligibility criteria for students with no specific pre requisites for students as long as they are at least 17 years of age, (18 for international students) and have a basic NCEA level qualification. Other universities in New Zealand follow a more comprehensive eligibility criteria with a number of specific requirements including letters of recommendation, pre requisite courses, statements of purpose, standardised test scores and more.

The documents required in the visa process for Indian students at Information Technology Training Institute, New Zealand: 

1. You will be expected to show your academic records and transcripts.

2. Your updated CV

3. Proof that you are financially capable of supporting yourself during your stay in New Zealand. These may include showing an amount of NZ$ 20,000 for a full year of study or NZ$ 1,250 per month.

4. Identity and relationship of your financial guarantor 

5. A standardised and globally recognised English language proficiency test such as IELTS or TOEFL scores.

6. A form of identity such as your Aadhar or Pan card

7. Any scholarship programs you have been accepted into.

8. Evidence that you are leaving New Zealand after the completion of your course.

9. A character certificate issued by the police if you are aged 17 years or over and plan to study for more than 24 months. 

10.  Medical records and X-rays for tuberculosis

Following the submission of these documents, you may also have to appear for a personal interview at the New Zealand embassy or consulate.
