Is it a good choice to pursue B.Tech in CSE from LPU? How can I choose a good college for B.Tech in CSE?

Hi I would choose LPU which tends to change instruction through scholastic meticulousness; pragmatic direction and result based education. METHODOLOGY: The students are encouraged to undertake assignments/project work from the industry and work towards finding possible solutions to integrate their theoretical knowledge with industrial practices. Keeping in view the employment potential, in-depth knowledge is provided to the students through department electives in computer networks, artificial intelligence, databases and information systems as well as computer programming and algorithms. SCHOLARSHIPS: Aid to education is given on various scales of scholarships including the one based on covid. PLACEMENTS: LPU has been awarded National Employ-ability 2020 for Best Placements as MNCs recruit students to top positions. 900 companies visit the LPU campus for internships and on job training and 700+ companies recruit the LPU students to the top notch positions. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU; and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants in which more than 90% are MNCs and generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session. B.Tech CSE student bagged a 42LPA from Microsoft and many more such feats are added to LPU. In June 2020 3 students have bagged 31LPA each from Amazon. Check that your shortlisted colleges have the following: Curriculum : If at all the curriculum is continuously upgraded and developed with consultations and feedback of industry. Since IT is a highly dynamic field, you cant afford a program which is stuck in obsolete technologies and syllabi. Pedagogy : The teaching pedagogy forms the backbone of how the program is delivered, more the practical, better it is. Maximum exposure to practicals and internships more chances of becoming a well rounded professional. Technology: The businesses and the business functions are now highly tech driven, the tech program must have the exposure and training of the same. The world leading technologies like GitHub, Advance excel etc are must for any professional to succeed in career. Industry interface: Ultimately its the industry which is going to immerse the students in the placements, the regular industrial talks, interactions, lectures, visits and internships are must have in any tech program. Professional etiquette: It is the most important part these days, the personality, ethics, virtuous, speech, body language, interpersonal skills etc are given high importance in the organisations. The program must include the training or modules on all these. Diversity: As he world shrinks into a aligned economy, the professionals will be required to work in cross cultural teams having entirely different work culture and ethos, the national and international diversity of students in a college is helpful in enabling the students develop right sensibilities for such work atmosphere. Entrepreneurship : Even though most of the students go for jobs, the exposure to entrepreneurship is required. Community service: A bit of community projects in between the course are very important to develop the humane side of the person as well as learn the organizing skills. Placements : The program is only means to the end ! And desired end of such course is a placement. You must check if the college/university has sold track record of placements or not. Hi, I am happy that you are asking for B.Tech in CSE. This stream is highly specialized and appreciated. Luckily you asking for Lovely Professional University which is the most searched Institution nowadays because of recent NIRF rankings released by MHRD. # You will be very fortunate to study in such an Institute which has clinched the position among the top 80 best Institutions of the country. Where placements are not a tall problem. Be relaxed for the career ahead, because LPU provides ample of opportunities to get decent job during the final year of the degree by bringing more than 700 industry giants for recruitments. # Many LPU students are already working in Silicon valley. I personally believe that output is the function of inputs means if input is good, output has to be, so is the case for the placements of LPU. There are lot of College and universities which are doing good but as per my experience LPU is an outstanding place to pursue your studies. I have experienced in LPU as a student and I learned plenty of things during my graduation. LPU provides the beautiful infrastructure and all required resources to students and staff. I will highly recommended that if you really want to make your career with good level of education then you should go for LPU. When I was seeking college for admission for my graduation, I was quite confused. But after a long comparison with all relevant facts and figures I joined LPU and now I am an alumni of LPU and Decision for LPU was best decision of my life. LPU gave me extra edge in everything. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. LPU has around 2300 faculty members in the university. IT has experienced, specialism and well qualified faculty members. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities. So, you should go for LPU and you will not regret this decision ever.

Sarvottam, CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too.
