    Yes, it's a good choice to pursue B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) from Chitkara University. Chitkara is no doubt ranked quite higher than other private universities in north India. It's quite a big University, huge infrastructure, all modern facilities are available for students with student clubs, research and innovative projects, design competitions and much more. Placements are also excellent in mechanical as leading mechanical and automotive companies visiting our campus regularly for placement activities.

    Dear Pallavi, I cannot say anything about Chitkara University, but if I talk about LPU, then mechanical engineering at LPU is the best option. My friend did ME at LPU and now settled in his life. LPU provides abundant opportunities for students to think out of the box. School of Mechanical Engineering is the best Mechanical Engineering college in Punjab, India equipped with 40+ labs and modern machining to provide an extra edge to the existing curriculum which focuses on developing a strong basic knowledge.     I don't know about Chitkara but I do know about LPU. LPU is the better choice to pursue your engineering. LPU does provide B.Tech in Mechanical. LPU is a better option, in terms of placements, best curriculum, infrastructure, well-experienced faculty, and provides hands-on experience on the latest technologies. As per my experience, LPU is the best engineering college and the best place to pursue an engineering degree with highly qualified teaching staff, the best laboratories, and modern technologies.     Well, I am not quite sure about mechanical engineering from Chitkara University. But for the future scope, one must understand that the Employment of mechanical engineers is projected to grow 5 percent through 2024, while some other engineering focuses will SEE higher employment growth and some will SEE lower or no growth, according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. Further to advise I believe LPU is one of the best University that offer B.Tech in various programs such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. Some of the benefits are:
