My cousin sister is pursuing B.Arch from Lovely Professional University, Reviews are pretty good. My cousin sister is pursuing B.Arch from Lovely Professional University, Reviews are pretty good. She told me few things about course, placements, academics, exposure etc. She said, LPU is amongst the Top 5 School of Architecture, Design and Planning disciplines in India and the top 100 schools globally by 2025 by becoming a Center of design excellence in Academics, Consultancy and Research. LPU trains its students to become lateral thinkers by focusing on the critical design approach. With exposure to an international environment, access to the latest tools, software and technology, students become architects that create buildings and infrastructure that are globally acknowledged. Students documented the buildings and learning from Live Case Examples during experiential learning week. Students paying the regular site visits and gaining their knowledge on the latest construction techniques and implement into their design projects. Students are taken to educational tours to complement in-class learning. B.Arch and Diploma students gained an exciting learning experience through Tool House Workshop in Mumbai and, a guided trip to Sanchi Stupa in Madhya Pradesh. They attended seminars and guest lectures by experienced and professional architects are held frequently to enhance the knowledge of the students. World acclaimed architect Raj Real, Ar. PSN Rao, Ar. The firm has won various awards for its projects. Completed their internships from Spain, Germany, Dubai and London. LPU provides a good platform for placements for all streams and programs. The Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) for B.Arch is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 with English and also 60% marks in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics or Pass with 60% in Diploma (any stream) (3 years) recognised by Central/ State government. A career in Architecture is attractive, lucrative, and has lots of potential in terms of development. The architectural degree is designed in such a way so that it fulfills the educational component of professional certifying bodies. As a faculty at LPU I would say LPU is best university to pursue B.
