Well I can share my own experience that made me decide to take B.Tech from LPU. Though I believe every institute tries to give there best foot yet I found LPU best because:- 1. LPU has multiple industrial Tie-ups include Google, SAP, Cisco, Bosch, Dell EMC, VMware, PEGA Systems, Intel, Microsoft, and many tech giants enforcing the students to adapt to the technology advances. It has enjoyed a healthy track record of launching its students onto successful careers. 2. LPU has enjoyed a healthy track record of launching its students onto successful careers. Proving this is their alumni who are currently working in 300+ Global and Indian brands. Today, some of the top recruiting companies which have reached LPU campus for placements include Cognizant, Google, Microsoft, Infosys, Dell, Samsung, HCL Technologies, IBM, Tech Mahindra, and Dabur to name a few. And coming to the placements 100% placements for the students who so ever registered for the placements. Final year B Tech Computer Science & Engineering student of Lovely Professional University, Tanya Arora has bagged Rs 42 Lacs job offer from Microsoft. 3. LPU B.Tech is Gen. Dear Sahithi, Yes, it is a good option to pursue B.Tech from LPU with these good marks. In fact, you should have a minimum of 60% marks in the 12th class with mandatory subjects English Maths and Physics. Moreover, you have to qualify for the either LPU NEST exam or should have a minimum of 85 percentile in the JEE Mains exam. LPU offers B.Tech in various programmes such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. I recommended my cousin to do B.Tech from LPU itself. Commendable Placement: In LPU, more than 550+ national and multinational companies visit for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for the Engineering programme is 42 LPA. Scholarships/Financial Assistance: LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement. As an educational consultant, I will tell you that this score is not just as the university which you are talking about is floating minimum scholarship on this percentage, so be happy and plan the admission in your interested programme. I came to know that due to COVID-19 LPU has mellowed down the eligibility norms and kept the eligibility as: 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST. You will be happy to know that LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI. Not only this, the Engineering institutes have also been ranked top 100 amongst all other Engineering institute which is a matter of proud. So, you need to appear in LPU NEST which will serve two purposes I. e. eligibility and scholarship. LPU NEST is remotely online proctored test which will be conducted from home due to COVID-19. Hello, As per the admissions 2020 The Eligibility for B.Tech is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST and moreover LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI. You can take admission as per the eligibility on the LPU website. The most important priorities of LPU is best quality of education and placements at great places. They follow these things and result is lot of deserved and eligible students got the best places. Moreover, LPU has Best Lifestyle and university Life.
