In my opinion, there's nothing to caution yourself whether you are PCB/PCMB/PCM student. My suggestion would be to please give some time learning the definition of the word Biotechnology put into words by various international organisations, the applications of Biotechnology and its scope in India. The general notion is that Biotechnology doesn't have much scope within India and I have seen most of my friends around biotechnology taking up

It may be challenging for PCB Physics Chemistry Biology students to study B.Tech in biotechnology at VIT, as the course requires a strong foundation in both Biology and engineering concepts. However, if you are passionate about biotechnology and willing to work hard, you can certainly succeed in the programme. No — VIT-AP does not admit or offer free seat under EAPCET counselling and you cannot admit to VIT-AP without VITEEE (or management quota).
The clear explanation is described below:

 1. Is VIT-AP EAMCET/ EAPCET rankable?
No.
VIT-AP does not engage in Andhra Pradesh EAPCET counselling.
They do not believe in EAMCET ranks to B.Tech admissions.

The admissions of VIT-AP are largely by way of:

VITEEE (compulsory in merit seats of B.Tech)

Direct/Management quota (increased fee)

Scholarships depend on the VITEEE ranking / board marks (unlimited)

Your EAPCET rank is therefore not accepted to be admitted to VIT-AP.
