Dear aspirant, Great interacting with you. Yes they do while you may have heard of people getting very good colleges after dropping two consecutive years but not everyone has a story like that so if you are planning I would personally comment against it. The worthiness of anything depends upon the amount of hard work put in the right direction and with the right people. There are many droppers for CLAT each year and the number of aspirants are increasing with each year passing. There are around 1200 to 1300 seats in the general category and overall there are 2500 seats. To make a drop for CLAT worth means getting into the top 6 NLUs. I

Hi Anand, Taking 2 years drop for CLAT exam is not worth it. One year drop is fine, if you don't get into any of the NLUs, then instead of wasting one more year, take up some good private college and use that one year for internships after the course. This will add more value to you.

Dear Sir, I do not recommend this at all. I have seen with so many bright students dropping a year just to prepare well and appear for the next years CLAT or NEET or JEE etc. To prepare well in Entrance you need to sincerely study atleast 3-4 hrs daily for 2 months before Exam date. So dropping a year will not help you - trust me. In case you could not get through this years CLAT prepare again and appear next year. But continue your education. If you are going to sit for CLAT exam then it is very much important to know about the CLAT Exam pattern, syllabus, questions type. There are five important Topics which you need to focus on CLAT

    Hi,
2 years is a lot of time. I'd say if you're really keen on doing Law and doing it from the best of the Law schools then a years preparation should do. Focus on time management, answer mock papers and brush up on current affairs and GK. Good luck, hope this helps.
