Is it worth to join LPU? There are so many rumors about LPU. I have scored 2000 rank in LPUNEST.

Dear Veda, Yes, it is worth joining LPU. In fact, I highly recommend LPU for the CSE programme. As you are looking for the CSE program, then LPU is the best option ever for you. I did MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are a few points I would like to share about why CSE is good at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. in which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the program. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries that help students to explore themselves more in their field such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrad, etc. Specializations: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. Apart from this, many opportunities and scholarships are there in LPU while studying for bright students in academics and extracurricular activities. Being an alumni I would like to answer this. I want to say that LPU is doing phenomenal work for the upliftment of the students and that could be justified through following: Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technologys Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals. The syllabus is updated every 6 months which personally, It has separate lab facilities available for each course like robotics Lab, research lab, postgraduate lab, aviation lab, lab for fashion designing, advance kitchen lab etc. Faculties are highly qualified, most of the faculties have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, they have at least minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. They are cooperative and whenever you need their help, they are ready to help you out. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering: Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning) Quantitative Aptitude Skills Technical Aptitude Skills Presentations and Soft Skills Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc.) All a student has to do is to maintain a good academic record and personality to ensure his/her placement. Some of the OTHER MAIN POINTS: faculties, studying in LPU will get a degree accredited from a body of USA. 1.LPU got the highest ranking according to Impact Ranking 2021 2.LPU is ranked No 2 among the Indian B schools in Outreach and Inclusivity by NIRF. 3.Scholarships provide an opportunity for the students to earn an education. Of course, there are numerous students who are deserving and yes LPU would be the best platform for them which give them the way to attain their degree in much affordable way. 4.Unblemished placements records with more than 200 corporates which entails Asian Paints, Federal Banks, Royal Bank of Scotland, Moodys Analytics and so on are keep on recruiting maximum students on yearly basis. Hi, We have seen that whenever a university reaches heights by making efforts, rumors start spreading to bring the downfall. But rumors are just rumors. The way LPU is making efforts for their children is commendable. The vision of LPU is to be a premier academic institution recognized internationally for its contribution to industry and society through excellence in teaching, learning, research, internationalization, entrepreneurship, and leadership. That is what the University is achieving now. If I talk about the placements, more than 750 companies visit LPU every year for recruitment. Many top recruiters visit the LPU campus to employ graduates, such as Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, and several other firms. Recently, a girl got placed at a package of 42 LPA. Moreover, Amazon recruited LPU students with 30 LPA. So, don't believe in rumours as the haters spread it and you can definitely join LPU without any hesitation. Thanks
