Is it worth to pursue CSE from LPU?

Dear Key Re, The B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from LPU is totally worth it. My bestie did this programme at LPU and got placed in an MNC. There are a few points I would like to share about why CSE is good at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. in which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the program. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries that help students to explore themselves more in their field such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrad, etc. Specializations: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. Apart from this, many opportunities and scholarships are there in LPU while studying for bright students in academics and extracurricular activities. The study of CSE in LPU is very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of their students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Yes certainly, B.Tech CSE programme is offered by numerous Universities across the country but only few offer this with unique curriculum and placements. As per my experience, I must say that LPU provides great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. LPU is far way ahead with any other institute in many parameters such as rankings, exposure and placements. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Let me highlight what I have out figured: LPU adopts new technologies faster than anyone, they update their curriculum even after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also to meet the latest standards. Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. So, as per the Eligibility for B.Tech CSE, which is to Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. LPU NEST will be exempted in case student has scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains or 90% aggregate marks in 10+2. So, qualifying the same you can directly proceed for Admissions. LPU is one of the best private universities in the country with world-class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty. Key, definitely it is worth joining LPU as Yash, LPU is one of the best universities in the country with world class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty from IITs, IIITs, NITs, etc. High tech MAC lab.s have been set up for the benefit of students. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too. Hello! I have done my Engineering from LPU and today I am a proud alumnus of LPU. I will share my experience, I hope it helps. LPU has it all for complete learning. I would say a Big YES for B.Tech CSE from LPU. Engineering at LPU is a complete and perfect blend of learning and fun. I remember my days of engineering at LPU, how I use to rush for 9 am class and spend hours on my assignments. Engineering is a blend and balance of book learning and practical learning. LPU creates the content in such a way that learning becomes easier for the students. Faculty members are so experienced that they are able to sense how much we have grabbed in his class. University provides all the resources and techniques to make learning easier and also at the same time prepare the students keep to cope up with the corporate world. LPU provides you with all the facilities required to be a good engineer. I had a splendid experience with the faculty members, placement mentor and officers. Infrastructure: University has well-equipped labs with all the latest technologies for learning and development. Double Storey Central Library, equipped with computer labs and all the required books and curriculum, open for students till mid night 12. Not just this all the facilities in university is worth appreciating. The quality of the facilities provided in our hostel was top notch. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen were great. Medical facilities provided were splendid. Infrastructure is good. All resources are available. College provide Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library. Faculty: Teachers were qualified. They have a good knowledge of the courses they teach. They are very helpful and supportive. Quality of teaching provided is top quality. The teachers are really very supportive. Course curriculum is structured perfectly. It makes the students industry ready. Placements: In my batch I remember, almost 95% students were placed and there were many who got the multiple package as well. The highest package was around 42 Lacs per annum. All the students were trained professionally from their first year onwards. The University provides maximum opportunities to students. It depends upon the students whether they want to grab the opportunity or not. Most students who do not have backlogs or reappears gets placed. Students who were not so good in academics, they were enrolled in more PEP classes to help them in placement. I hope this helps. Good Luck!
