    Kurukshetra University was established in 1956 by the late Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India. Initially known as Sanskrit University, Kurukshetra University has been accredited with an A+ by the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council).
    However, Kurukshetra University offered a Bachelor of Technology Program is approved by the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). The university offers Bachelor of Technology Programs in various disciplines, including Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical Engineering, etc.
