Is Laptop compulsory for a student at LPU?
-
Hi, The laptop requirement completely depends on the programme you are opting for. You have to bring your own laptop, but no need to buy a new one, if you have one. To exemplify, for B.Tech, BCA MCA etc. It is mandatory but for some, it is not. If you want to buy a new laptop either you can purchase online or there is a UNIMALL inside LPU where there are shops that sell the laptop at cheaper prices. However, in a pandemic, as the classes are going online so it's recommended to have a laptop. Hope this answer helps!

5 years agoHi Vaibhavi, With best of my knowledge in LPU, no matters which Degree course you are studying at LPU. If one can able to manage without a laptop, he/she should considered as a genius. But still it is advised to take a laptop with you because the level of the university is remarkable and beyond the imagination. They expect from every student to become a Tech Friendly. Moreover, they have developed a system which is more compatible to be a user friendly only on laptops. In short, mobile will not be very much helpful in Academic tasks. So, it is better to take laptop along with you. All the best. -
Hello!
Laptop has become a necessity for every student now. So, in LPU also, it is compulsory in almost most of the programmes like B.Tech, MBA, Design and animation etc. Since LPU systems are mostly online and a laptop gives students the flexibility and freedom that they need to work on academic assignments anytime, anywhere. Considering the current pandemic situation, classes are scheduled online, so laptop will be mandatory for same. Also, if you are in university, LPU has 3 storey library which is also equipped with computer labs. This also helps the students in case of need. I hope this helps. All the Best!

Although there isn't just one best course at LPU, the B.Tech CSE and its specializations (AI, ML, and Data Science) are unquestionably some of the best. Practical learning, coding culture, real-world projects, and industry experience are all major components of the course. Placements are good, and students have opportunities to pursue certifications, internships, and hackathons in addition to their coursework. In addition to CSE, LPU excels in MBA, Design, Law, and Agriculture, providing students with a wide range of career-focused options.
Hey, so for LPU's end-term exam in Physical Education, you need at least 30% marks in the end-term itself, plus an overall 40% combining continuous assessment and end-term. That's the standard across their PE programs, and they've got a cool holistic review if you hit the aggregate but miss the end-term bit—super fair way to keep things student-friendly. Attendance stays key at 75% min, which makes sense for staying active in sports stuff. LPU really nails this balance, helping folks like us push through without harsh cutoffs, way better for building real fitness skills. No wonder it's a top pick—keeps motivation high and stress lo
The Physical Efficiency Test (LPUPET) of LPU for the 2025 admissions into PE/sports programs was conducted in several schedules, with the latest being on August 26, 2025 (Schedule VI). For the year 2026, tentative dates start on April 16, running until August, in 6 phases. Please check the website for updates.
Hey guys, so I checked the official LPU site for the BPEd course fee, and for the first year, it's around INR1 Lacs to INR1.09 lakhs, covering tuition at INR50,000 per semester plus exam fees of about INR4,500-INR5,000 each. That's super reasonable for a top-notch programme with awesome sports facilities and scholarships up to 60% if you score well in LPUNEST—like INR96,000 off per semester for high performers. LPU really makes it accessible without compromising quality, way better value than many places I've seen. Total for two years is INR2-2.18 lakhs, but first-year payment is straightforward via UPI or whatever. If you're into ph
