Is late admission possible? Please, I want to take admission in clinical microbiology at LPU. I got 75% in B.Sc biotechnology.

Hi, late admission is possible but there are some regulations regarding admissions. Better you should call on there official number.

Late admission is only possible, if they have some seats left, due to few students who cancel their admission. Now late admission is a risk, which should be avoided. If you are thinking some other college and you want to wait for that, than pay the min. Admission fees, mostly it is refundable. However would advise you to elaborate your question more.

Dear Manpreet, I don't understand why you want late admission as LPU is already on with admissions and that too assisted with online admissions even during the lockdown phase. Addressing your query, on inquiring from the counsellors, I came to know that you may plan to take admission in LPU as the eligibility is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Bachelors Degree in (MLT or Medical or Applied Medical Science or Biosciences or Medical Science and Allied Medical or Life Sciences or Veterinary Microbiology and Parasitology or Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology or Public Health and Allied Sciences) or equivalent. As you have already scored 75%, will get scholarship LPU promotes following scholarship:
1. On the basis of marks in previous class
2. LPU conducts Lovely professional university national entrance and scholarship test LPU NEST on the basis of which student can enhance their scholarship
3. Some national level tests like JEE Mains, NATA NEET UCEED CAT XAT MAT CMAT NMAT GPAT GATE etc.
4. Performance on the basis of sports, cultural or co-curricular activities.
5. Board Toppers
6. For Orphan students or person with certain disabilities
7. Defence personnel and central armed police forces (CAPF) dependents
8. LPU has also floated COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship for the survivors of COVID and for their dependents as well. # From the above mentioned scholarships, candidate will get one that too which will be maximum one. The counsellors mentioned that the course is designed to create expertise in laboratory diagnosis of human diseases caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites as well as antimicrobial susceptibility testing, infection control, public health, and laboratory quality, safety, management, and regulation.
