NALSAR Hyderabad and NLU Kolkata, both the universities are top-ranked NLUs. In the NIRF 2024 law rankings, NALSAR University of Law is ranked #3 and NLU Kolkata is #4. Hence, both universities are almost the same considering the ranking factor. Moreover, candidates can also check the course fees at these universities to decide better:

    NLUTotal Tuition Fee
    NALSAR University of LawINR 65,000
    WBNUJSINR 34,000

NOTE: The mentioned fee is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

It depends on many factors such as proximity ( Hyderabad is better in this aspect), closeness to your home, the specialisation which you would be doing in. According to my opinion, NALSAR Hyderabad would definitely be a better option as it is a growing university whereas as many other top tier NLUs are stagnant. NALSAR also has better placements when compared to NUJS.

NALSAR University of Law is located in Hyderabad. It has a higher rank than NLU Kolkata. The universities you are applying to require you to apply for the LLM Common Entrance Test (LCEPT) or the National Law Universities Entrance Test (NLUET) to gain admission. Such universities are staffed with highly qualified and experienced academic specialists. Students can choose the university according to their preferences. Moreover, students can check the websites of both universities.

No, you can not get admission in NLU Delhi through NLSAT score. You need to appear for AILET Exam to get into the NLU Delhi. Candidates must note that the exam is conducted once a year.

No, you cannot get into a National Law University (NLU) with a ULSAT score. NLU admissions for the 25 participating NLUs is done through the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). For NLU Delhi the AILET is conducted. ULSAT is for UPES, not NLUs, so you need CLAT or AILET scores.
