LPU is among the best engineering colleges in India in every terms like training, education and placements. I would give 9/10 points for CSE in LPU.

Taslim, CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too. I can attest that LPU's B.Tech CSE programme is the greatest. Let me go over the highlights of the course. The Department is quite proud of its innovative Live Projects, which allow students to get technical experience while designing cutting-edge applications. The B Tech CSE program is almost synonymous with LPU. This is the reason why students as far as the south is coming down to Punjab to pursue the highly-rated programme in the IT sector - B Tech CSE. The is very carefully designed to meet the global industrial needs, and good faculty, and state-of-the-art facilities have left many reputed institutions behind. The B Tech CSE program primarily deals with the development as well as designing of computer software and hardware processes with a strong focus on courses related to algorithms, computation, programming languages, design, computer hardware, computer software, databases, operating systems, computer networking, etc. That is needed to build and solve problems using computers. The curriculum taught here is of international standard. Highlights 1. The CSE dept. LPU has various tie-ups with Google, Pega, VMWARE, AUTOMATION ANYWHERE, INFORMATICA, COMPUTING TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION (CompTIA). The university has state-of-the-art labs with the latest software to provide hands-on practical exposure to students. 2. IITs and NITs are also appreciating campus-wide facilities in terms of IT. 3. Online access to research journals, leading company annual reports, and business dissertations with design analysis for ERP. 4. Design and Development of software and databases for data analysis. 5. Dear Taslim, I will rate LPU 10/10 for the CSE programme. Many of my friends got placed at LPU after the completion of the CSE programme. There are a few points I would like to share about why CSE is good at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries that help students to explore themselves more in their field such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrade, etc. Specializations: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. Apart from this, many opportunities and scholarships are there in LPU while studying for bright students in academics and extracurricular activities. As an alumnus of LPU, I feel proud to answer this question. I was a student in the B.Tech CSE of the 2012 batch, the knowledge that I gained while my course duration has helped me a lot in shaping my career. Lovely Professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. The number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. I am saying this because I had completed same course from Lovely Professional University, Reviews are pretty good. Well, the study of CSE in LPU is very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most the students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. LPU is the better choice for pursuing B.Tech, as my friend is studied in LPU. LPU started the education journey in 2001 (16 years) inwards. I will give 9 out of 10 to LPU for CSE. As per my experience in LPU as a student, Lovely professional University is best place for B.Tech CSE. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. It provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc. With a great curriculum which is benchmarked with foreign universities. Placements are also good. CSE students got placement in Amazon with a package of 28 LPA. As per the last year record of LPU, the average packages in CSE are from 4 to 10 LPA.
