According to LPU officials they usually says that they provide 100% placements to all the eligible and placement aspiring candidates. More than 700 giant companies are visiting University campus to recruit the Industry ready candidates made by LPU. More than 900 drives are being conducted in a year. Now just imagine there are only 365 days in a year, and 900 placement drives are the big number, which simply means that students might witness 4-5 drives at every alternative days. The placement of LPU is very good.600+ companies visit the campus every year and almost 90% of the students got placed. Last year a girl placed in microsoft with a package of 42 LPA. The placement staff of LPU works very hard for bringing the company in the camp. LPU also have tie ups with foreign university that will help student to place in foreign universities. I have been in LPU so I can vouch on their practices that they are implementing and I have witnessed their effort for students and management working hard for placement and imparting quality teaching. Dear Venkatesh, As a general rule for placements, a lot more will depend upon your own hard work, communication & presentation skills and overall preparation. This would be true for any university you enroll in. Also, in my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. LPU provides plenty of opportunities to its students to take part in events, competitions, fests in order to let them grow their personality and give them a chance to polish their skills. Also, The placements in LPU is quite good as Microsoft, Google, Amazon etc. Big companies & other multinational & national companies come for the campus placements. The average package is 5-7 LPA, the highest package is 42 LPA BY Microsoft. However few of our seniors have also landed a package of 20 Lacs from various IT giants companies. The placement record is good enough to secure a decent job and if you have the zeal to explore more for programming field or so then don't worry because who knows you may get the highest package. They give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Try not to miss those classes they will help you in getting better placements, after all, all we need is a decent place with good exposure. I shouldn't even have to explain this one.
