If you have an inborn interest in cooking and exploring various cuisines from different countries, nutrition and dietetics is one subject which will help you explore how to design controlled diets. Based on the body mass index, you can design your own food charts that would summarize the quantity of fats, carbohydrates, and proteins which must be consumed everyday. LPU gives you all the opportunities to excel in your course and be a perfectionist.In addition to core curricula, course offers subjects like communication, analytical and soft skills to enhance personality and employability. Visits to Anganwadis and NGOs creating awareness about nutrition among masses are an important part of curriculum.Regular interactive sessions with academicians and chief dietitians to update knowledge on the latest technologies are part of this course at LPU. It involves diet planning and patient counselling. The course is career oriented in nature. The career prospects include Dietician &amp; Nutritionist.
