Is LPU good for animation?

The Computer Animation students concentrate on animation by following degree route or supplement their animation knowledge by combining animation with Digital Art or Multimedia. A range of project-led themes to establish the importance of Computer Animation. Considerable time is spent on examining how visual images, first created on paper (2D), can be manipulated and enhanced using computer technology so that the final result (2D or 3D) can be delivered in an animated and potentially interactive form using digital media such as CDS and websites. At LPU, the B Design programme emphasizes sound theoretical grounding in principles and process of animation film making with extensive practical works, it enables proficiency in students to handle and deliver industry-standard projects/output. The Eligibility Criteria is passing with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. The programme focuses on developing drawing and sketching skills through observation and study of light and shade. The student will be able to acquire knowledge of the elements and principles used in designing, attain skills to choose and implement vector and raster tools to create a visual design. The programme helps develop competence to work in a team to execute visual design concepts utilizing the visualization, drawing, sketching, and painting skills, Design and execute sequential art and illustration in the form of comics and storyboards for use in films, games, and other related media. Students will be able to analyze and execute projects following proper pipeline and management of time. This course will help you to create and execute digital painting using appropriate software at par with industry standards. Students will be able to convert ideas to stories and present the same through proper format. A set of four elective courses in a related area to develop a competency beyond the major area Gaming, 3d visualization, conceptual design, Graphics, Effects, and simulation.
