Is LPU good for B.Tech CSE? I couldn't qualify for JEE Mains.

Dear Anuj, Yes, LPU is good for the B.Tech in CSE. Moreover, you need not worry about the JEE Mains if have not qualified. You can appear for the LPU NEST exam conducted by LPU and can get admission easily. I did MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is also studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are a few points I would like to share with you why CSE is good at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries that help students to explore themselves more in their field such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrade, etc. Specializations: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. Apart from this, many opportunities and scholarships are there in LPU while studying for bright students in academics and extracurricular activities. In order to get admission in CSE there is an eligibility criteria that needs to be fulfilled by the student. For B.Tech (CSE) the eligibility includes 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) + LPUNEST. For B.Tech CSE (Hons) 70% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics )+ LPUNEST. LPUNEST cut off scores varies with different domains of B.Tech. JEE (Mains) exam score may be considered for scholarship but you need to qualify the eligibility criteria first. Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories: 1.1. Hi Anuj, JEE Mains is an competitive exam and not everyone are able to clear JEE Mains. But that does not mean that they are less talented. LPU provides admission based on LPU NEST score/ +2 scores. If you meet the criteria then you can get admission into LPU. Past is past, what LPU wants from you is to give your best during your B Tech. That's what matters for LPU. LPU gives many opportunities to prove our skills. LPU has dynamic curriculum.
