Is LPU good for career in B.Tech (CSE)?

Dear Sagar, I am getting these kind of queries everyday! For a young 10+2 students this seems to be the most important question, Since placements are considered the top barometer of success I will talk about the factors leading to placement. Mostly placements is considered as a standalone process. Course curriculum, It needs to be dynamic and industry consulted then only the professionals will be developed which industry really needs. Programme delivery: Classroom teaching doesn't work anymore, it has o be experiential learning technique. Technology training: May times the students do get good skill sets, but these skills are there with many people in market, the freshers need to have the exposure to tools like Oracle, Advance excel, Github, other MOOCs etc. Which improve the efficiency manifold. Industry interface: To have more and more interactions with industry experts, learning the things hands on and networking! Professional enhancement: Students come from various backgrounds and culture, they may be very good in inculcating the technical skills, but they also need to clear the interviews also for taking the jobs. The soft skills, communication, interpersonal and networking skills need to be inculcated in them not only for interviews but for whole of their careers. Faculty, the faculty which develops the curriculum and delivers the programme with right teaching pedagogy must be top notch. Internships, entrepreneurship, community development projects etc. : They need to be integral part of curriculum so that students get hands on knowledge about real time situations in various aspects of life and business. Sagar, LPU is one of the best universities in the country with world class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty from IITs, IIITs, NITs, etc. High tech MAC lab.s have been set up for the benefit of students. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. I would like to say that without any second thought you should go for LPU. LPU is far better than Sharda University and LPU is the best place for B.Tech CSE. LPU provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc. With a great curriculum which is benchmarked with foreign universities. Placements are also good. CSE students got placement in Amazon with a package of 28 Lacs per annum. As per the last year record of LPU The average packages in CSE are from 4 to 10lakh per annum. Moreover, ECE dept is also well-equipped with great facilities. CSE is one of the most sought-after programs these days. India being global hub of software and back-office industries, this field has immense job opportunities. You must know the parameters on which to compare. Some are mentioned as follows: Curriculum: The course curricula of any tech degree must be very unique and dynamic. It must be developed with extensive consultations with industry.
