Dear Rupesh,
I am an admission consultant and recently one of my students has applied for admission in B.Tech CSE at LPU. I also spoke to the admission counselors, will share all the details.Eligibility for B.Tech CSE is 60% in 12th, with LPU NEST. LPU NEST is their entrance and scholarship test. Hi, LPU does not conduct any interview during the admission process of B.Tech courses. CSE is a flagship programme of LPU. So, the eligibility criteria are a bit high for this. LPU offers B.Tech and B.Tech (Hons. ) with specializations in Data Science & Data Engineering, Cyber Security and BlockChain, Full Stack Software Development. The eligibility criteria for this programme is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or In case student scored more than or equal to 90% in 10+2, or 90 percentile in JEE Mains, then LPU NEST will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission. Dear Rupesh, LPU never conducts interview for any engineering course. For admission in engineering, a candidate have to fill eligibility criteria such as 60% marks in PCM. Well here I want to update you for LPU admission process. No, IPU does not conduct any kind of interview during the admission process of B.Tech courses. The admissions are based on ranks obtained in JEE Main Paper-1 and 2.
