Afshan tabasum, we have M.Tech in civil engineering. We have specialisation in structure, geotech, environment and construction management. We also give scholarship to GATE qualified students. Sometimes the university can give very high scholarships, even more than NITS. Currently more than 200 students are pursuing M.Tech from Chandigarh university. So we have the required support system in terms of faculty and infrastructure. With better Nirf ranking, NBA and also NAAC accreditation, we provide facilities for timely completion of post graduation programme. The university also make concerted effort for placement of students. Chandigarh university has HRS of big IT conglomerate on its Corporate advisory board which helps in attainment of these objectives for students. Students at CU get these packages frequently. Not only this, Students doing Csc as UG course sometimes have the option to choose from the available jobs in hand. Another salient feature is that a student after getting a job cant sit for another interview unless all others have got a job. The salient feature of Chandigarh university is its corporate advisory board. It has HRs of all major companies on board. They keep on apprising Chandigarh university about the talent requirements of future. They help in updating the syllabus according to the future requirements. No, there is no civil engineering in M.Tech in this college. Other courses are available and they are: 1) Artificial intelligence 2) Data Science and engineering 3) Cloud technology and information security.
