As far as I know Manipal is better than VIT, but there are pros and cons with every University. There are things such as publishing research paper and stuff in which VIT is better than Mainipal, but in many aspects Manipal is much better than VIT as far as Academics and extra curricular activities are concerned.

Both the universities are equally good in academics. Manipal comes with its own set of perks too though with all the extra facilities and opportunities. It depends on the branch you want to study.
