Degree Programme at the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) is purely on the basis of merit as assessed through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) administered by the Consortium of National Law Universities. Similarly, other National Law Universities (NLUs) also admit students to their B.A. LL.B. programs based on the CLAT or other specified entrance exams. Therefore, clearing the national-level entrance exam is a mandatory requirement for admission to the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Degree Programme at NLUs.</p>

<p>No, a B.A. LLB at National Law University is not necessary to attend National Law University. The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) admits students to its B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) Degree Program only on the basis of merit, as determined by a Common Law Admission Test administered for that purpose. Similar to this, candidates must pass the All India Law Entrance Test in order to be admitted to National Law University Delhi's BA LLB programme, which is merit-based</p>
