    SRM is a private institutions, which follows the guidelines of the government. It is basically a NGO (not for profit organization), which is deemed to be university by UGC act.

    It's a private university which is deemed under the UGC. If offers all courses in undergraduate and postgraduate as well as doctorate degree. For B.Tech or B.E admission SRMJEE entrance exam is conducted by the university for admission. For more details please check the link: http://www.srmuniv.ac.in/.
