Yes, CAT Exam is enough for getting admission in Management Schools or Colleges in India. For IIM there is need of good percentile score and for NITT as well. You can apply by appearing in CAT. -
Hello! Yes CAT is a ladder to get admission in Iims. CAT score is accepted by NITs also. CAT is a national level management entrance exam which is conducted by Iims and the score of CAT exam is accepted by 100+ good schools in India. Good Luck. -

So, basically, CAT exams is a eligibility Test to join IIM and NIT but it is not sufficient to join the institutions after you clear CAT you are generally called for an interview by the IIM that are accepting that score and then if you clear the interview you get into these institutions hope this clear your query.
