Both are one and the same thing since IIST select students based on their JEE Mains and JEE Advanced score, so you need to qualify JEE Advanced after Mains for the same. -
That comes under JEE platform only. You should appear for JEE Advanced with a good rank. No other window is there. -
Minimum Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses:
Only Indian citizens are eligible to take admission in UG courses offered at IIST. Candidates meet IIST admission eligibility criteria if they have secured minimum 75% aggregate marks in their Class 12th Board exams or equivalent examination.
