No, the IPMAT application form itself is not different for different categories (General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, PWD).

Here's a breakdown of what differs based on category:

    • Application Fee: The application fee for IPMAT is lower for reserved categories (SC, ST, PWD) compared to General, EWS & NC-OBC categories.
    • Document Uploads: While filling out the form, candidates belonging to reserved categories will need to upload scanned copies of valid certificates supporting their category claim.

Overall application process and form remain the same for all categories.

No, candidates do not have to pay any fee for IPMAT form correction. The facility is provided to candidates free of cost. However, if they have made an error in a field that is not available for editing, then, they will have to fill a fresh IPMAT form before submission deadline and pay the application fee again.

IPMAT Indore and IPMAT Rohtak have similar syllabus but they differ in terms of difficulty level. IPMAT Indore exam has 3 sections based on Verbal Skills and Quantitative Skills but the IPMAT Rohtak exam has an extra section on Logical Reasoning.

Level of difficulty of IPMAT Indore is slightly higher than IPMAT Rohtak as seen in the previous years. Also, IPMAT Indore scores are accepted by over 10 BSchools including IIM Sirmaur, IIM Shillong, IIM Ranchi, etc. but IPMAT Rohtak scores are accepted only by IIM Rohtak.
