Yes, university is closed for students on Saturday and Sunday. But Saturday is a normal working day for all the staff members. Saturday is also working for students who enrolled placement preparation classes.

Generally for the first-year students. There's a holiday. But if the teacher wants to take a makeup lecture its usually on Saturday. Or if your in your 3rd year or final year. Saturday will be for placement preparation classes. Otherwise, it completely depends on your course and syllabus. I am in my 2nd year of journalism and mass communication. And I do have placement classes on Saturday ie: only 2 lectures. Which is equal to holiday only, for the rest of the day. THANK YOU!

Definitely YES, you will get off on Saturday and Sunday, as LPU is one of the renowned university so, on those weekend days LPU will organize guest lectures and extra workshops, and I would like to recommend you to join such events, sessions related to your course/domain so that you can get extra practical knowledge.
