    Candidates applying for the UPSSSC PET must be aware of the eligibility criteria specified by the authorities in terms of educational qualifications, age, etc. Check the detailed UPSSSC PET Eligibility Criteria given below.

    • Minimum Class 10 High School Exam in Any Recognized Board or Any Higher Qualification in Any Recognized University in India.
    • The candidate must be aged between 18 to 40 years as of 1st July 2025. The age relaxations shall be applicable to the following categories:

    As per Government Regulations

    Meritorious Sportsperson

    5 years

    PWD

    15 years

  • Yes, there is an age limit to apply for the UPSSSC PET exam. The minimum age to apply for UPSSSC PET exam is 18 years and the maximum age is generally 40 years as of the 1st of July in the year the notification is issued. However, there are age relaxations for certain categories:

    • SC/ST/OBC candidates: Eligible for an age relaxation of 5 years.
    • Meritorious Sportspersons: Eligible for an age relaxation of 5 years.
