    As a gesture of appreciation and salutation to our Defence forces who are always there to protect our borders and our lives, Chandigarh University has devised a Reservation cum Fee Waiver Scheme for Defence Personnel and their wards. This scheme is also a part of our social responsibility towards special sections of our society. AFEWS is a unique scheme for reserving seats in all courses for the wards of Indian Defence personnel of different categories. The basic eligibility criteria Chitkara University for a BTech programme is given below:

  • Passed 12th with a min. aggregate of 60% or 60% in Physics, Chemistry & Maths; appeared in JEE Main-2026 (Jan/April); &, passed 12th examination in the year 2025 or appearing in 2026. The admission shall be made on the All India Rank (AIR) of JEE Main-2026.
  • Passed 12th with a min. aggregate of 70% or secured 70% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics; and, passed 12th exams in 2025 or appearing in 2026.
