Is VIT, Vellore better than Thapar University?
-
Total student strength of first year in Thapar is equivalent to the CSE strength at VIT. If you are fascinated by the rank of VIT, let me tell you that it's because there are so many professors in the university and hence number of research publications increase. If you consider the placement record, percentage placements is same. But packages differ. Almost all students in VIT except 20 to 30 get recruited by mass recruiters at less than 4 LPA. That's well understood after seeing the strength of the batch. You will get to exposure multi-culture in VIT more than Thapar.

Hi,
Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is better than VIT. Thapar has various international rankings, excellent placement records, a qualified team of professionals as faculty members who provide the best possible guidance. Although VIT has a better ranking but grooming wise TIET does the work better. Plus you get global exposure. Avg salary at tiet is around Rs. 5.93 lacs p. a. and the highest salary of Rs. 40.00 lacs. P. a. Nearly 231 companies visit TIET for recruitment. Their admission process is going on. You can check them out at www.thapar.edu. -

No, I would suggest you go to the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. The National Institutional Ranking Framework has ranked 23 among engineering institutions in 2019. So it is one of the best colleges in India and that too with good faculty and placement opportunities for students.
