The cut off mark for Velalar College of Engineering and Technology (VCET) is based on the marks obtained in the higher secondary (10+2) examination. The cut off mark is 200 (100 for Mathematics and 100 for Physics + Chemistry).
Since your brother got 326 out of 600 marks in 12th std, it is not clear if he can get admission to VCET. However, you can check with the college administration to see if they have any other criteria for admission.

It's not tough to get admission in the Velalar college of engineering and technology Tamil Nadu as you have to get atleast 50% marks in 10+2 and have to clear the Tamil Nadu State Exam for admission. After that, if your name is in the merit list, then you get admission.
